About The Daily Token

The Daily Token is a daily show about artificial intelligence for people who don't work in AI. We cover the news in plain English: what happened, and why it matters to you.

Two shows

• The Daily Token: the AI news from the day before, every day at 13:00 Istanbul time (10:00 UTC).
• The Daily Token Gaming: AI news from the world of games (games made with AI, animation and 3D tools, AI characters, and how studios and players react), every night at 22:00 Istanbul time (19:00 UTC).

Watch it, or read it

• The Short: every story of the day in under two minutes, made for your phone.
• The full episode: the same stories with more context, usually 8 to 10 minutes.
• The long read: a written version of each episode on this site, with links to every source.

How an episode is made

Every episode starts from primary sources: company announcements, regulatory filings and reporting from major news outlets. Each episode page lists the sources we used.

We use AI tools at every step: to research the stories, draft the scripts and articles, and make the graphics, music and narration. The narration is an AI clone of our host Ekin's own voice. Ekin reviews every episode before it goes out, and the videos carry YouTube's label for altered or synthetic content.

The Daily Token is hosted by Ekin and made by Whale Development Studios.
